Tato lokační vysílání příchozích od vašich přátel se pak vyplní na mapě, kde je zobrazena přesná poloha přátel, které jste přidali. Představte si to jako Always On Location Sharing, a ano, lidé to dělají. Tato funkce je ve skutečnosti mezi uživateli Snapchat docela populární. Další částí Snap Maps, která je oblíbená mezi mladšími demografickými skupinami, jsou tepelné mapy, které jsou generované uživateli odeslanými geograficky označenými fotografiemi v oblastech, aby bylo možné zkontrolovat nedávné aktivity v těchto oblastech umístění.

Jednou nevýhodou této funkce (kromě všech soukromí) bylo, že ve skutečnosti nemůžete ztlumit polohu nikoho.
