Google affichera des alertes de tremblement de terre en Californie alimentées par ShakeAlert

Avec le Suppression des fonctionnalités du troisième pixel Début juin, Google a ajouté de nombreuses nouvelles fonctionnalités à Android 10 sur les appareils Pixel. Parmi celles-ci, Google a ajouté quelques améliorations à l'application Personal Safety en étendant la Fonction de détection de crash du Pixel 4/4XL à la série Pixel 3 et en ajoutant deux nouvelles fonctionnalités: « Contrôle de sécurité » pour tenir les contacts d'urgence informés de votre où vous vous trouvez si vous ne répondez pas aux enregistrements programmés et aux « alertes de crise » pour vous informer des catastrophes naturelles dans votre région.

Bien que les alertes de crise ne concernent aucun type spécifique de calamité naturelle, Google se prépare à ajouter un mécanisme d'alerte spécifiquement pour les tremblements de terre. Nous avons repéré des références dans la version bêta 20.26.12 des services Google Play que la société a ajoutées pour les alertes sismiques spécifiquement en Californie. Ces alertes sont alimentées par

SecouerAlert, un service qui fournit des alertes précoces sur les tremblements de terre spécifiquement pour le Côte ouest.

Un démontage d'un APK peut souvent prédire des fonctionnalités qui pourraient arriver dans une future mise à jour d'une application, mais il est possible que l'une des fonctionnalités que nous mentionnons ici ne soit pas disponible dans une version future. En effet, ces fonctionnalités ne sont actuellement pas implémentées dans la version live et peuvent être supprimées à tout moment par Google dans une version future.
