Een demontage van Google Play Games v.2020.03.16839 heeft reeksen code onthuld die een aankomende vriendenlijst voor een nieuwe Play Together-functie markeren.
Google Play Games is misschien niet een van de populairste apps van het bedrijf, maar Google maakt er een punt van om de app up-to-date te houden met nieuwe functies. Het was een van de eerste apps van het bedrijf ontvang een donker thema en Google heeft zelfs een grote ontwerprevisie voor de app vorig jaar. Eerder dit jaar, in februari, onthulde een APK-verwijdering van de app een aanstaande functie die dat wel zou doen gebruikers op de hoogte stellen van de door Google gekozen Game van de Week. Nu heeft een demontage van de nieuwste versie van Google Play Games (v2020.03.16839) nog een paar opmerkelijke functies aan het licht gebracht die momenteel worden getest.
Een APK-demontage kan vaak functies voorspellen die in een toekomstige update van een applicatie kunnen verschijnen, maar het is mogelijk dat een van de functies die we hier noemen mogelijk niet in een toekomstige release wordt opgenomen. Dit komt omdat deze functies momenteel niet zijn geïmplementeerd in de live build en op elk moment door de ontwikkelaars kunnen worden ingetrokken in een toekomstige build.
Vriendenlijst
Een gemakkelijk toegankelijke vriendenlijst is een functie die je op vrijwel elk gamingplatform aantreft. Hiermee kunt u verbinding maken met vrienden op het platform, controleren wanneer ze online zijn en eenvoudig uitnodigingen verzenden om samen games te spelen. Helaas heeft Google Play Games momenteel geen vriendenlijst. Dat kan echter binnenkort veranderen. Uit codereeksen die bij de laatste demontage van de app zijn ontdekt, blijkt dat het bedrijf intern een vriendenlijst voor de app test.

Als u een gamer-ID aanstootgevend vindt, krijgt u ook de mogelijkheid om de gebruiker te rapporteren. Als uw vrienden de app niet op hun apparaat hebben, heeft u bovendien de mogelijkheid om een uitnodigingslink te genereren die u kunt delen om iemand aan uw vriendenlijst toe te voegen. Bovendien krijg je ook de mogelijkheid om je vriendenlijst te delen met de games die je speelt maken het gemakkelijker voor u om met ze te spelen, maar games hebben geen toegang tot uw vriendenlijst standaard.
Samen spelen
Dit brengt ons bij de komende Play Together-functie die hand in hand gaat in de vriendenlijst. Volgens de code kun je bij games met toegang tot je vriendenlijst gemakkelijk al je vrienden zien die dat spel spelen en samen met hen spelen. Je vrienden hebben ook de mogelijkheid om hun vriendenlijst met het spel te delen, zodat je met nog meer mensen kunt spelen.

Naast het delen van uw vriendenlijst kunt u met de functie Samen spelen ook uw game-activiteiten delen, zodat uw vrienden kunnen zien welke games u hebt gespeeld. De zichtbaarheidsselectie biedt u drie opties, waarmee u uw spelactiviteit privé, zichtbaar voor vrienden of zichtbaar voor iedereen kunt houden. Als u stopt met het spelen van een bepaald spel, krijgt u ook de mogelijkheid om de toegang tot het spel tot uw vriendenlijst te weigeren.
